This guide describes how to deploy the Baan Enterprise Solutions suite in your
environment. This document provides a high-level view of the steps you must
take to deploy the Baan Enterprise Solutions Suite.
This document applies to Service Pack 4 or higher of BaanERP. This Service
Pack introduces the new DA package which provides netchange functionality.
For detailed information about installing and configuring individual components
you are referred to the appropriate installation and configuration guides.
This guide contains the following chapters:
Chapter 1, "Deployment checklist," describes the high-level checks you must
perform and some of the decisions you must make when deploying the Baan
Enterprise Solutions suite.
Chapters 2, "BaanSCS-BaanERP integration," describes the main installation and
configuration steps involved in setting up the BaanSCS-BaanERP integration.
These chapters refer to the documentation you must refer to when performing
these steps. A list of all the required documentation is printed on the following
page.
Appendix A, "Baan OpenWorld and BaanEAI," describes the differences
between Baan OpenWorld and its predecessor (BaanEAI).
Appendix B, "Integration between BaanFOS and BaanERP," presents a quick
summary of the integration between BaanFOS and BaanERP.
Appendix C, Integration between BaanSCS and BaanERP," presents a quick
summary of the integration between BaanSCS and BaanERP.
